The rapid growth of social media networks in the last few years has opened up many new opportunities for marketers. The textbook identifies Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube as the primary networks in today’s market space. Having a good understanding of these networks and how they operate can provide marketers important opportunities to supplement the more traditional media.
